Questions

Ticket bot questions

How do I make a ticket bot for my Discord server?

Sign in to camelBot with Discord and describe your ticket bot in plain words. Say what the button does, what the form asks and who your staff are. Our AI writes it with no code. Try it as pretend members in your private test channel, then add it to your server and post the panel.

Can a Discord ticket bot open a private channel for each ticket?

Yes. Each ticket gets its own channel that only the member who opened it, your staff and the bot can see. When it closes, the member can still read it, so they can look back at the answer.

Can a Discord support bot answer tickets with AI?

Yes. Your bot answers first from your FAQ and rules, keeps the conversation going in the ticket, and brings in your staff when the member still needs a person. It reads screenshots too.

How do staff claim a ticket?

With the Claim button on the ticket. It changes to show who's handling it, and anyone else who presses it is told who has it. Only your staff can claim or close a ticket.

Can the bot save ticket transcripts?

Yes. When a ticket closes, your bot can post the whole conversation as a text file in your log channel, with a short AI summary on top.

Can I have different forms for reports, appeals and questions?

Yes. Give each kind its own button, its own questions and its own team. A report form can ask who it's about with a member picker and take a screenshot.

Is it free to make a Discord ticket bot?

Yes. camelBot is free while in beta, and you can build your ticket bot with no credit card.
