CAMELBOT
The Discord bot builder that hosts your bot
A custom Discord bot means writing code, paying for a server, and fixing the bot when it breaks. camelBot writes and tests the bot, keeps it online after you publish, and shows you what it did and what failed.
Free while in beta, no credit card.
How it works
How camelBot takes your bot from draft to live
camel-builder writes and checks the code. Publishing and adding the bot to your server are always your clicks.
Describe the bot
Say what it should do, then choose whether it replies as camel or as its own Discord app.
camel-builder writes and checks it
It writes the code, checks it, saves it, and tries each command before it hands the bot back.
Try it in a private test channel
Use its commands, buttons, and forms as yourself or as pretend members. Nothing goes to Discord.
Publish when it works
camel-builder offers each change as a new version. Only your click publishes it.
Add it to your server
Discord's own screen picks the server and the channel. The first add also publishes the bot.
After launch
Every bot gets a dashboard with activity, logs, and versions
Each use shows up as it happens. A failed one comes with its error and logs, and one click asks camel-builder to fix it.
Build from Discord
Build and edit your bot from Discord
Add camel to your Discord apps, then run /camel create in any server or DM. camel-builder picks up in your DMs, and it's the same conversation as on the web.

FAQ
Questions about camelBot
camelBot is free while in beta, and you don't need a credit card. AI features in your bots, like chat replies, images, and voice transcription, draw on a daily allowance.
The failed use shows up in the bot's Activity tab, and Details shows the error and its logs. Ask camel-builder to fix opens the chat with the problem already written out. You try the fix in the test channel, then publish it.
Yes. Pause is in the bot's Settings. A paused bot stops answering in Discord, and nothing is lost. Switch Pause off to bring it back, or ask camel-builder to pause or resume it for you.
Each time you publish, camelBot saves a version. When you roll back to an older one, Discord switches to that version's code right away, saved as a new version. The bot's saved data stays as it is.
Only you. The test channel is in camelBot, not in your server, and nothing in it goes to Discord. You can talk as yourself or as pretend members named Alex and Sam. AI replies there are real and show how much of your daily allowance they used.
Yes. Download its data, in the bot's Settings, saves a copy of everything the bot has saved as a .sqlite file. Deleting a bot offers the same download first and asks you to type the bot's name to confirm.
No. When you connect your own Discord app, the bot token goes straight to camelBot, not into the chat. camel-builder never sees it.
It writes, checks, saves, and tests your bots' code, reads their logs and versions, renames them, pauses and resumes them, and moves a bot between Camel's app and your own. Publishing, rolling back, and deleting are always your click.
