Logging bot questions

What does a Discord logging bot do?
A log bot writes down what happens in your server and posts each event in a log channel. That means edited messages with the before and after, deleted messages, members joining and leaving, role and channel changes, and voice moves. Your staff can look back at any moment of any day.
- Entry 0207:50
Can a logging bot show what a deleted message said?
Yes. Your bot keeps a copy of each message as it’s posted, in its own database. When someone edits one, it posts the before and after. When someone deletes one, it posts what it said.
- Entry 0309:40
Can I make an audit log bot for my Discord server?
Yes. Your bot reads your server’s audit log as entries arrive. That covers roles given and taken, channels made, renamed or deleted, permission changes, bans, kicks and timeouts. It posts each one in plain words, with who did it and the reason they gave.
