Reminder bot questions
#1
How do I make a reminder bot on Discord?
Sign in to camelBot with Discord and describe your reminder bot in plain words. Our AI writes it for you, with no code. Try it in your private test channel, then add it to your server.
#2
Can a Discord bot send repeating reminders?
Yes. Repeat a reminder every week, every day or every couple of hours, like a Monday standup, a weekly game night or a bump timer. Each one fires on schedule and comes back for the next.
#3
How do members see and cancel their reminders?
They type /reminders to see their own upcoming reminders in a private reply. Picking one from the menu cancels it. Each member sees only their own list.
#4
Does a reminder bot work across time zones?
Yes. Members save their time zone once, so Friday at 7 means their own Friday at 7. Times show as Discord timestamps, which Discord displays in each reader’s local time.
#5
Can members just type “remind me” in chat?
Yes. Mention your bot with something like “remind me Friday at 6 to call mom” and it reads the time from the words, confirms it, and reminds them then.
#6
Can reminders arrive as a DM?
Yes. Ask for DM reminders and your bot sends each one privately, with Snooze and Done buttons.
#7
Can one reminder ping a group of people?
Yes. Add a Remind me too button. When the reminder is due, your bot mentions everyone who pressed it.
#8
Is it free to make a Discord reminder bot?
Yes. Sign in with Discord and start building, with no credit card.
