Episode guide
Season 1 · 8 episodesEP 01How do I make an anime Discord bot?
Sign in to camelBot with Discord and describe your bot in plain words, like which channel gets new episodes and what members can look up. Our AI writes it with no code. Try it in your private test channel, then add it to your server.
EP 02Can it post new anime episodes when they air?
Yes. Members follow the shows they watch, and when a new episode comes out it posts in your #airing channel with the show's picture and score. Everyone who follows that show gets mentioned.
EP 03Where does it get anime information?
From a public anime site such as Kitsu. Your bot reads titles, posters, scores, episode counts and airing status from it, so every card is up to date.
EP 04Can members look up any anime?
Yes. A lookup command takes a title and answers with the poster, the score, the number of episodes, whether it's still airing and a short summary.
EP 05Can each member pick their own shows?
Yes. Members follow and unfollow shows with a command, and see their own list in a reply only they can see. Each new episode mentions just the people who follow that show.
EP 06Can it run anime games and events?
Yes. It can run guess the anime from a poster with answer buttons and a leaderboard, plan watch parties with Going buttons and a reminder, and post the season's top shows every week.
EP 07Is it free to make an anime Discord bot?
Yes. You can build and try it free right now, with no credit card.
EP 08How do I add an anime bot to my Discord server?
Build it on camelBot and try it in your private test channel. Then press Add to Discord and pick your server and channel. Already in Discord? Add camelBot and type /camel create to start there.
