Confession #40
I lurked for a year before saying hi. Best thing I did all year.

Confession #41
I’ve been “almost done” with my sketchbook since March.
HushAPPToday at 9:21 PM
Confession #42
I reread the welcome post every time I come back. It still makes me smile.

HushReply 1 to #42 Same. It’s the first thing I read too.

Confession #43
I still sleep with a night light. It’s shaped like a moth.

Staff check first

Turn it on, and each note waits in a staff channel before it goes up. Staff see the note, never the name.

New confession
I think @Rowan’s moth sketches are the best thing in this server.
Held for staff. It names a member.

Write back without a name

Reply anonymously opens the same kind of form. Hush posts each answer in a thread under the note, numbered, so the whole conversation stays anonymous.

Confession bot questions

  • How do I make a confession bot on Discord?

Describe it to camel-builder, our AI, in plain words. It builds the bot, you try it in a private test channel, and then you add it to your server. No code.

  • Are the confessions anonymous?

Yes, to your members and staff. The bot posts each note under its own name, with a number, so members and staff never see who sent it.

  • Can staff check confessions before they go up?

Yes. Each note can wait in a staff channel with Approve and Deny buttons. Approve posts it with the next number, and Deny can ask staff for a short reason.

  • Can members reply to a confession anonymously?

Yes. A Reply anonymously button opens a form, and the bot posts each answer in a thread under the confession, numbered, without names.

  • How do I keep anonymous confessions kind?

Your bot can hold notes that name a member for staff to read first, give staff a Block sender button that stops someone without showing who, and give each member a few confessions a day.

  • Can I choose how confessions look?

Yes. Pick the channel, the color down the side, the title (Confession #42 or anything you like) and the buttons underneath. Ask for a change and it updates the bot.

  • Is the confession bot free?

Yes. You can build and try it free right now, with no credit card.

Ready for confession number one

Your server’s first note gets the number one. Try it in a private test channel before anyone sees it.
