CASA-certified security practices

Our infrastructure follows CASA-certified security practices, ensuring your data meets industry standards for protection. These practices involve rigorous authentication protocols, secure data handling, and ongoing monitoring to prevent unauthorized access.

SOC 2 compliance underway

We are actively pursuing SOC 2 certification to further validate our commitment to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. This industry-standard certification will provide additional assurance about how we handle your sensitive data.

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Single Sign-On (SSO)

Our platform implements strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure users only access resources appropriate to their role. Combined with Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities, we provide secure, streamlined authentication while maintaining detailed access logs and controls.

AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest

All your data is protected using industry-standard AES-256 encryption both during transmission (in transit) and when stored in our systems (at rest). This military-grade encryption ensures that sensitive information remains secure from unauthorized access.

Regular third-party audits and penetration tests

We conduct regular third-party security audits and penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. This proactive approach helps us maintain a robust security posture and stay ahead of emerging threats.

Questions & Answers

Common questions about CamelAI and Supabase.

Is my Supabase connection secure?

Yes, your Supabase connection is fully secure. We integrate through Supabase's official API, respecting all Row Level Security (RLS) policies and access controls. Your data remains encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never bypass your security rules. If you revoke API access, the connection is immediately terminated.

How is my data stored?

camelAI's infrastructure runs on AWS, separate from your Supabase instance. We only pull data when you request it through prompts, strictly adhering to your RLS policies. Data is cached briefly (5 minutes) in an EC2 instance before being securely deleted. For details, see our Security Policy and security blog post.

How does camelAI connect to my Supabase database?

We connect through Supabase's official API using your project's API keys, ensuring all Row Level Security policies are enforced. We only access the specific data your policies allow, and credentials are encrypted and can be revoked instantly from your Supabase dashboard.

Do you store or log my database queries?

We temporarily cache queries (up to 5 minutes) to optimize performance while respecting Supabase's rate limits and your project's resource allocation. All cached data follows your RLS policies and is then securely deleted.

How do I revoke Supabase access?

You can revoke access instantly through your Supabase project dashboard by rotating your API keys. This immediately invalidates our access to your database and services.

Do you train on my Supabase data?

No. We never train on your Supabase data or store it beyond the temporary cache. We've opted out of data sharing for AI training, and you can read more about OpenAI's API policies here.
