CASA-certified security practices

Our infrastructure follows CASA-certified security practices, ensuring your data meets industry standards for protection. These practices involve rigorous authentication protocols, secure data handling, and ongoing monitoring to prevent unauthorized access.

SOC 2 compliance underway

We are actively pursuing SOC 2 certification to further validate our commitment to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. This industry-standard certification will provide additional assurance about how we handle your sensitive data.

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Single Sign-On (SSO)

Our platform implements strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure users only access resources appropriate to their role. Combined with Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities, we provide secure, streamlined authentication while maintaining detailed access logs and controls.

AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest

All your data is protected using industry-standard AES-256 encryption both during transmission (in transit) and when stored in our systems (at rest). This military-grade encryption ensures that sensitive information remains secure from unauthorized access.

Regular third-party audits and penetration tests

We conduct regular third-party security audits and penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. This proactive approach helps us maintain a robust security posture and stay ahead of emerging threats.

Questions & Answers

Common questions about CamelAI and CSV files.

Is my CSV data secure?

Yes, your CSV data is secure. When you upload CSV files to our platform, they are immediately encrypted and stored securely on our servers. All data processing and analysis happens in isolated environments, and your files are protected with enterprise-grade security measures.

How is my CSV data stored?

Your CSV files are securely stored on AWS infrastructure. When you upload a CSV, we process it through our AI pipeline for optimization and store it in encrypted form. The processed data is available only to your account and is automatically backed up. For more information, please see our Security Policy and our security blog post.

How does camelAI connect to my CSV data?

When you upload a CSV file, our AI processing pipeline automatically analyzes the structure, detects data types, and optimizes it for querying using DuckDB. This makes your static CSV data instantly queryable and ready for analysis.

Do you store or log my CSV data queries?

We temporarily cache query results (for up to 5 minutes) to provide faster responses to similar questions about your CSV data. After this period, the cached results are automatically deleted.

How do I revoke access to my CSV data?

You can delete your CSV files from your account settings at any time. This permanently removes both the original file and any processed versions from our servers.

Do you train on my CSV data?

No. We do not train on any user's CSV data, and we have opted out of data sharing for training. Your CSV files and their contents remain private and are only used to provide you with analysis and insights. You can read more about OpenAI's API policies here.
