CAMELBOT TERMS

camelBot Terms of Service

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Questions about these Terms? Email support@camelai.com.

These Terms are an agreement between you and CamelQA, Inc., doing business as camelAI ("we", "us"). They cover camelBot: the bot builder at bots.camelai.com, its assistant camel-builder, our shared Discord app (Camel's app), camelBot's commands in Discord, and the camelBot app for ChatGPT. You accept these Terms by signing in to camelBot or using it. If you don't agree, don't use camelBot. Our camelBot Privacy Policy explains what data camelBot handles.

The short version

  • You must be at least 13 and follow Discord's rules.
  • You're responsible for the bots you build and what they do in your servers.
  • Don't build bots that harm people, servers, or Discord. We can pause or remove bots that do.
  • AI makes mistakes. Check what your bot does.
  • camelBot is new and run by a small team. It's free to start, and we may offer paid features. It comes with no guarantees.

1. Using camelBot

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to use Discord where you live. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use camelBot, and to buy anything from us.

You sign in with your Discord account, and you're responsible for what happens under it. You must also follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. camelBot is made by camelAI. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Discord.

2. Your bots

You're responsible for the bots you build and publish, and for what they do in the servers you add them to. Only add a bot to a server where you're allowed to. If your bot reads messages, keeps data about members, or moderates people, make sure that's welcome in your server.

Bots that run on Camel's app run on our Discord application, so Discord holds us responsible for them. That's why we may pause, change, or remove any bot that breaks these Terms or Discord's rules, or that puts people or the service at risk.

If you connect your own Discord application, you give camelBot its bot token and let camelBot manage the app's settings, such as its name, picture, description, and where Discord sends its events. You stay responsible for that app under Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy.

3. What's not allowed

Don't use camelBot, or build a bot with it, to:

  • break the law, or Discord's terms or Community Guidelines;
  • raid, nuke, or take over servers, or delete, ban, or kick in bulk without the server's say-so;
  • spam, send unwanted direct messages, or fake activity or member counts;
  • harass, threaten, or bully people, or post hateful or violent extremist content;
  • scam people, phish, or collect passwords, tokens, or other logins;
  • share sexual content outside age-restricted channels, or any sexual content involving minors;
  • impersonate people, other bots, Discord, or camelAI;
  • collect, sell, or profile members' data beyond what the bot needs to do its job;
  • run real-money gambling; or
  • break, overload, or get around camelBot's limits or security, including by using extra accounts to get more free usage.

Reporting a bot. If a camelBot bot breaks these rules, email support@camelai.com with the server and the bot's name, or tell us in our Discord support server. We review reports and take action when needed. A server's managers can also remove a camelBot bot at any time.

4. AI

camel-builder writes your bot's code with AI, and bots can use AI too. AI can be wrong, offensive, or unexpected. Test your bot and check what it does before you rely on it, and don't treat its answers as professional advice.

5. Free use and paid features

camelBot is free to start. Each bot, and your use of camel-builder, gets a daily AI allowance that resets at midnight UTC. When a bot uses its allowance, its AI features stop until the next day. We set the allowances and other limits, and we may change them.

We may offer paid features, such as more AI usage or a subscription. Before you buy, we'll show you the price and what's included. Prices don't include taxes. Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. Paid AI usage is used only after your free daily allowance runs out. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren't refundable, but if we shut camelBot down, we'll refund prepaid AI usage you haven't used. We may change prices, and we'll tell you before a change applies to a subscription you already have. If a payment fails, we may turn off paid features.

The "Made with camelAI" line. camelBot adds "Made with camelAI · bots.camelai.com" to each bot's Discord profile. Don't remove or hide it unless camelBot gives you a way to turn it off, for example with a paid feature.

6. Your content

You keep the rights you have in what you give camelBot, such as your instructions, messages, text, and images. You let us use it to run camelBot for you: to store it, run it, and show it in Discord the way you set your bot up. You confirm you have the right to give it to us.

camelBot itself, including camel-builder, the system that runs your bots, and our name and logo, belongs to us. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

7. Pausing and ending

You can stop using camelBot at any time. You can delete a bot in its settings, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@camelai.com.

We may pause or remove bots, or suspend or end your access, if you break these Terms or Discord's rules, if the law requires it, or to protect people or the service. We may change or stop any part of camelBot. If we shut camelBot down, we'll try to tell you ahead of time.

8. No guarantees, and limits on our liability

camelBot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We're a small team and camelBot is new. Bots may go offline, behave unexpectedly, or lose data, and we don't promise any uptime.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of US$100 and what you paid us in the six months before the event behind the claim. Some places don't allow parts of this; there, it applies as far as the law permits.

If someone makes a claim against us because of your bots, your content, or your breach of these Terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs, as far as the law allows.

9. Disputes

Texas law governs these Terms. If you have a problem with camelBot, email legal@camelai.com first and give us 30 days to work it out. After that, either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court, or in the state or federal courts in Dallas County, Texas.

10. Everything else

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in camelBot or by email before it takes effect, and using camelBot after that means you accept it. We may transfer these Terms if camelAI is merged, acquired, or sold; you can't transfer them without our permission. If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These Terms and the camelBot Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about camelBot.
